So Far Away

It's been a long, long time since I posted here. The big change: Gwen and I are no longer in Kentucky, due to my father's illness. Since then, Dad has passed away and we are now stuck in Florida, anchored to my mother but spiritually adrift.

I know there are other Pagans in the Tampa Bay area. We haven't met them yet. There is no way, though, that they can replace the PPD circle. The two of us direly miss the fellowship and community.

We really need to find a long-distance way to keep in touch. Gwen played around with Skype, but both of our laptops died and had to be replaced. I don't know yet if our new laptops will be as capable. We went as cheap as possible, since we have no more savings.

What are we doing spiritually? Since the New Year began, we've been going to the beach to meditate. I am still mourning for my life in Kentucky, but I've decided I need to put myself in alignment with my new home. The spiritual essence of the ocean is different from the hills and forests of Kentucky - ebbing and flowing, calm and raging. For the last nine months, we've dealt with ebbing and raging. Time for rebirth? I hope we will find some blessings soon.

I miss my PPD friends in KY and OH. I hear that you miss us, too. Should we try Skype again? Meeting in Second Life?

Curious,

Your Genetrix
